In April 2009 three new emergency power generator sets have been placed in the St. Antonius Hospital in Nieuwegein. These generator sets are fitted with a S12A2-PTA Mitsubishi 12 cylinder diesel engine. The emergency power generators are to ensure the ordinary course of business in the hospital in case of a blackout.
Diesel Equipment Trading (DET) provided Secure Energy with the Mitsubishi S12A2-PTA, this is the diesel engine driving the Stamford-generator and it will start when the hospital experiences a blackout. When the S12A2-PTA driven generator is turned on, the hospital will automatically be provided with power.
