Low sound intensity and low emissions are becoming increasingly important factors. Especially for machines operated in populated areas. Great performance while sparing the environment: this is the engine for operations surrounded by people.
A clean exhaust system is good for man and environment. This has always been a high priority for Mitsubishi technicians. The cleaner emission is het result of an improved combustor and intelligent design; there is total combustion of the injected fuel. The SS engine delivers high duty and is clean. This spares the environment and all engines fall within laws and regulations. Of course this is a very important consideration, when procuring new materials.
Two systems have been developed, direct fuel injection and a so called swirl-chamber. This makes the engine suitable for applications in and outdoors. The engine can be deployed in construction machinery but also in forklifts and gensets.
