The available types in the L series are:

Mitsubishi L3E (6 - 17 kW)
Mitsubishi L2E L3E lightweight and compact
A L2E or L3E diesel engine is very light and compact. Its relatively high power output has a maximum of 17 kW, warranting excellent performance. The engine is available in two cylinder and three cylinder versions.
The balanced design keeps vibrations to a minimum. This results in a quiet and user-friendly engine, especially as it is also very easy in maintenance. All filters are reachable from the same side. Differences between the L2E and L3E are small, enabling a swift delivery of parts.
Equipped with an automatic glow filament the engine is utmost reliable, temperatures of 20 degrees below zero are no problem.
The features above make the L-series engines perfectly suitable for: accessory drive, driving light duty industrial machines and the propulsion of yachts.
