Case established itself in the construction equipment industry and as a manufacturer of road-building equipment, such as rollers and road graders by 1912.
By the mid-1990s, Case has expanded and became the world's leading manufacturer of light- to medium-sized construction equipment like the crawler excavator.
In 1999 Case merged with New Holland to become CNH. A leading brand of construction and agricultural equipment. Case construction and excavator machines are equipped with Mitsubishi and Isuzu diesel engines of the types K4N, 4LE2X and 4HK1X.
